STAFF
Our landscaping crew led by David and Matt
Landry will professionally install your trees and
shrubs.  Jesse Salazar and Mike Moss have
been landscaping with us for many years.  
Huntree Nursery has been providing this
service for over 38 years and continue to work
their hardest to install exemplary landscapes.
Elvira and her crew are extremely hard-working.
They are an integral part of the family at Huntree.
Not only do they work alongside the guys on the
landscape jobs, but they also do the spring and fall
cleanups and maintenance of gardens. They are in
high demand for their amazing abilities. These
women have devoted their lives to gardening and
if you are lucky enough to have them working in
your garden, we guarantee that you will  be
impressed by their professionalism and talent.
Retail Staff:
Jan- Jan is our fearless leader! She not only owns the
nursery with her husband, David, but she also works hard
right along with the crew serving customers and training
staff. Jan does it all!

Paul- Artist Extraordinare! Paul is an accomplished artist as
well as an avid gardener. He is a Michigan Certified
Nurseryman and has had formal education in Horticulture.
His own garden is magnificent. He can give you creative
ideas and help you select just the right plants to fit your
special situation.

Cindy- Master Gardener! Cindy has earned the title of
Master Gardener through her education and experience.
She is also a Michigan Certified Nurseryman. Cindy comes
from a background of extensive customer service in the
travel industry so she is very comfortable and professional
with helping anyone with a gardening question. She is
highly knowledgable of everything from fruit trees to
azaleas!   In  her spare time, she is a mother of two
darling girls and talented writer.

Linda- Our 2012 intern has joined our staff.  She now has
her MSU degree and  eagerly assists our customers. She
received the Outstanding Student Award from the Michigan
Association of Nurserymen.  Linda is a runner, a yoga
enthusiast, and does a mean tap dance .

Koko -  brings us her own special talents.  She is a Master
Gardener, is into eco-friendly & sustainable gardening. She
is a poet and musician.
Landscape Designer:
Carmen Behn has been our Landscape
Designer for over 19 years!! Huntree
wouldn't be Huntree without her. She
spends countless hours building
extraordinary designs on her
computer. Her extensive background
in drafting and design qualifies her to
create a garden that will satisfy nearly
any palate.  She will work with you
very closely to determine your
personal goals and help you design
the garden of your dreams.  She has
much experience designing gardens
with deer browsing in mind!

David  & Jan Landry are the
owners of Huntree and are in
their 41st year here at the
nursery, 31 years as owners.   
They are both Michigan
Certified Nurserymen.  David
has a Forestry degree from
Michigan State University.
Matt Landry, son of David & Jan
has been a part of the nursery
since birth.  He is a Michigan
Certified Nurseryman and has had
many years experience as crew
leader and managing the hectic
delivery schedule.   He is also a
talented muscian  (band member
of the South Shore Concert Band),
playing trombone and Euphonium
as well as a woodworker.
